Exhibitor News

Not long to go now!

We've now completed the floor-plan for the November event. You can review it on the website at:

https://www.oxfordindiebookfair.co.uk/exhibitors/

If you still want a listing then send your info to info@oxfordindiebookfair.com

(The name you want to be listed as, Genre, Short 3rd person bio, Single book / author photo, web link if you have one)

Those that have requested power have been assigned a space on the outer ring where you may have the opportunity to plug in. You will need to make sure that you bring extension leads and cooperate with your neighbours to make sure that you can all get connected safely.

A couple of reminders for things to do if you've not done so already.

Check the exhibitors information page (link in the website footer):

Help to promote YOUR event.

Please, please , please, consider how YOU can help make the Indie Book Fair a success. The organisers are volunteers and we work as hard as we can to promote it but 50 people can promote it much more successfully. If every exhibitor pulls in 5 visitors it will be well attended and the result of any organiser promotion will be the cream.

NOTHING WORKS LIKE PERSONAL INVITATIONS!

You can use the social media images which we've provided on the information for exhibitors page to download.  Do post regularly and  promote others as well as yourself.

We have publishers, illustrators, printers, origami artists, poets, writers groups and local authors both well-known and just starting out. The books on display are in most genres both fiction and non-fiction and for all age groups.

Something for everyone and in these hard times, unusually, entry is FREE and entry to high quality talks and the open-mike poetry slam is also FREE of charge. So plenty to brag about!

Any problems or queries you can ring Sylvia on 07809054969

New releases page!

We're considering setting up a page to list your new releases. If you've got a new book that's out soon, or earlier this year then why not submit the cover image (front only) and some blurb and if we get enough interest we'll list it on a page which will stay up for several months.

Although we can't publish a HUGE swathe of text, if you've got a couple of quotes from reviews as well, we'll see if we can put those up too. Try to keep your blurb short and snappy, people will NOT read huge tracts of text.

If your book is available on Amazon then we'll include a link to it. Note that this would contain our affiliate code so that perhaps we'll earn back the cost of a cup of coffee for out trouble!

Send your entry with the release date, cover image and blurb to info@oxfordindiebookfair.co.uk Use subject header "new release" so it doesn't get missed.

(Books will be listed Alphabetically, by title)

All the best,

The Oxford Indie Book Fair Team
