It’s incredibly helpful if our exhibitors post about the book fair before, during and after the event. Whilst we do what we can to advertise the event and draw as many visitors as we can in on the day to help you promote and sell your books, we also want to call upon all of our writers, artists, publishers and all you good folk who make books happen to spread the word. 

PLEASE do everything you can to let your audience know about the the Oxford Indie Book Fair.

1. Follow us on Facebook.
2. Like and comment on our posts as much as you can, the algorithmlover that kind of thing!
3. Post the ready made social media images below to your own social accounts.
4. Create your own posts of the event throughout the day and the time leading up to and after the event. Ideas for post content include:
   • Photos of your table, or your practice set-up from home before the event!
   • Posts about your books, book covers etc.
   • Pose a question for your audience
5. Use these hashtags to spread the word: #OxfordIndieBookFair #IndieAuthors #BookFairUK #OxfordEvents
6. Summer OXIB is hosted by the Oxford Festival of the Arts. Its 2026 theme is Signs, Symbols and Secrets. We’d appreciate it if you highlight your books that relate to the theme.
