Exhibitor's Blog #4
‌
‌
‌

Hi ,
Less than three weeks now until the big day on Dec 1st. Even if you're an old-hand at book fairs, those last few days always rush by faster than you think.
If you've just booked, then welcome to the weekly newsletter especially for exhibitors. The earlier editions can be read by visiting the exhibitor centre on the website.

DONT MISS THE DEADLINES

At the time of writing, we're 90% booked with just a handful of tables left. It would be good to get the final few mopped up in the coming week or so because we're gearing up to start putting together the printed brochure which will be handed out to visitors. Bookings after that point won't make it into print.
This is also true for anyone who has STILL not completed their exhibitor profile. There's still 21 of you listed at the bottom of the exhibitor directory who have no profiles and are missing out of valuable exposure. You'll also possibly be listed wrongly in the brochure as all we have is the name you signed up with which might not be who you're writing as!
If you're having trouble, then drop us a line using the contact form or email  info@oxfordindiebookfair.co.uk and we'll help.

Submissions for the video screen adverts will close NEXT FRIDAY 22 November in order to allow time to edit and check the video.

We've updated the information on the table sizes to check the exact measurements as there have been a handful of questions by some who are designing their display with PRECISION! See the exhibitor centre for all the details.

ARRIVAL TIME ON THE DAY

In order to prevent crowding, and possibly even INJURIES, we're going to be staggering the admission time for exhibitors. There is only ONE small, slow service lift, and although incredibly beautiful the imported Italian marble staircase leading to the exhibition halls upstairs are rather unforgiving!
YOU WILL RECEIVE AN EMAIL NEXT WEEK WITH YOUR ADMISSION TIMES. I'll give full instructions at that time and update the exhibitor centre page with the details.

Finally, keep on plugging the book fair on your social media, Facebook groups, whatever you can. It's VITAL that you do everything you can. Post on your writing groups to see who wants to snap up those last few tables too!

Okay, I think that's just about all anyone can reasonably absorb for now, time for another mug of Lemsip and honey... Ugh.

Andy, and the rest of the OXIB team Sylvia, James, Felicity, Ray and Shona.
