Oxford Indie Book Fair - Update

Dear ,

November has come around so quickly. You may have seen from the Oxford Indie Book Fair website that we have needed to postpone the fair again due to Covid. We still have the location booked and paid for, so we're 100% committed to going ahead with the event when it's good and safe to do so.

One school of thought is to hold off until April 2021 when hopefully we can run alongside the Oxford Literary Fair as originally intended. Nobody knows yet if that's going to be possible but we'll keep you all posted and keep our fingers firmly crossed.

In the meantime, we have been working hard to publish the Oxford Indie Book Fair online magazine. We've released THREE editions so far and are working on the fourth at this very moment. As a trial, we will soon be releasing a PRINTED edition which will be found in book shops and other places when they're back open again.

If you've not already read the magazine, then you can do so for free here, https://www.oxfordindiebookfair.co.uk/oxford-indie-book-fair-magazine/

All the original adverts from our advertisers and sponsors as well as the exhibitor listings have been included in these three editions. If you're one of our exhibitors then I'd strongly encourage you to share the links to the magazine on your social media using the hashtag #oxfordindiebookfair to keep the idea of the event alive. Also, why not use it to help promote your work in the meantime.

Our central aim is to help promote independent authors, small publishers and local book stores, so it's certainly in everyone's interest to help share links to the magazine and urge people to follow us on social media (twitter @OxfordIndieBookFair)

We're happy to accept submissions of articles and news of your new book releases for publication. We regularly do features on new releases, and it's FREE so do let us know about any upcoming book launches.

So, until the next time - stay safe!

The Oxford Indie Book Fair Team.
