Dear ,
A huge thanks to all the exhibitors and followers that have stuck with us during these "interesting times". As you'll know, if you're an exhibitor, your booking fee of £15 or £30 for space at the show has granted inclusion of your details in the four magazines including one printed edition which was available free of charge. All those will remain indefinitely on the website for everyone to read and we'll continue to list your exhibitor details on the website while you're involved. Now that we're getting closer to actually being able to host the book fair, (November 6th!) we're stepping things up a little and moving the magazine to a new online format to reach a wider audience. The new look magazine will make it easier for people to read on the go with their smartphones. In the next edition (more on that shortly) we're going to reset the advertising to help fund the cost of production and to encourage more authors and advertisers to make an appearance. Ads in the new magazine format will start at £20. We're aiming to publish quarterly and editions will remain online. There will also be a printed brochure at the event given out free to attendees which will include exhibitor listings and further advertising opportunities. If you're interested in advertising in the magazine, please contact Sylvia at: sylviavetta@gmail.com We're in the process of designing the new magazine, so we'll send out another newsletter with details of the ad layouts and pricing. We welcome feedback on the magazine, which we try to make inclusive, wide ranging and high quality. The four organisers Andy Severn, Ray Foulk, James Harrison and Sylvia Vetta take it in turns to edit the magazine. Sylvia is editing the autumn magazine and already has the content on this theme An International Magazine for an International City Andy Severn will edit the winter edition on the theme of Science Fiction and Technology - we'd love to include articles showcasing some of Oxford's world-leading high-tech industries. We have a growing list of people who have joined the waiting list for a spot at the book fair. Thanks for getting in touch, and we have your details on file. If there are any exhibitors that have found that they are unable to attend on the new date then do please get in touch so that we can offer your place to someone else.
All the best, and see you all on November 6! Oxford Indie Book Fair Team.
